Umit Mike Gursoy is the founder of the Gursoy Law Firm. He is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the Federal District Courts of New York for the Southern and Eastern Districts and the District of New Jersey.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York County Lawyer's Association.

Mr. Gursoy graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in 1999. During law school, he was competitively selected by the Honorable Charles E. Ramos, Justice of the New York Supreme Court to serve as a student law clerk intern.

Upon graduation from law school, he was hired as an associate in one of the top law firms specializing in civil litigation.  After serving with distinction, Mr. Gursoy left the firm and began his own practice. Due to his aggressive and results-based litigation style, Mr. Gursoy has become one of the top distinguished attorneys practicing law in a wide range of areas. 

Mr. Gursoy, has made many television appearances and has been interviewed and quoted in the print press regarding cases handled by the firm. In addition, Mr. Gursoy has hosted a radio program dealing with topics such as Immigration Law, Criminal Law and General Practice.
